JEDDAH — Manarat Jeddah International School's kindergarten section recently held an activity to educated students about sunnah (sayings and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him]).
The activity also encouraged children to lead life according to the guidance provided by the Qur'an and by adhering to the Prophet's traditions.
Students staged short plays, narrated Ahadith, recited verses from the Qur'an, and sang poetry for the audience comprising their mothers and teachers.
The tiny tots with the help of their parents also displayed posters and charts that highlighted a sunnah. Students' parents also took part in the event, where they were quizzed on the sunnah too. The activity, under the guidance of school principal Wafaa Ashwami, proved to be a success as children got to benefit from it in an interactive manner. Ashwami presented certificates of appreciation to parents who took time to work on the projects at home with their children and encouraged the rest of the parents to make extra efforts in helping their children as well.
