Munawarunnisa Nazneen Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Manarat International School recently organized a grand carnival at their school premises here. The grand event held for ladies and children only, was well organized by Grade 10 students with the help of their teachers. A plethora of activities, such as pizza making, jumping castle, sumo suit, dark room, disco, painting, colorful balloon throwing, photo booth, musical chairs, mini bowling, twisters, throwing the sponge, pin the celebrity, balloon shaving, henaah, cupcake decorating, t-shirt making,face painting were organized to entertain everyone. A large array of food tables offered BBQ, shawrma, cotton candy and other delectable delicacies. Some visitors even danced to the upbeat numbers with their children. The Designer Abaya shop, the Accessories Shop, the Manicure Stall, the Kids Spa, the World Fragrance and the Sky sale shop attracted huge crowd. Zubaidah, a stall owner of crafty mom for crochet and crafting ,shared her immense joy of being a part of the carnival. She describes the event as business along with entertainment. Jimy, another stall owner of beauty products, too expressed her joy and gratitude to be present at the event. Rafal Fatani, student of Grade 10, one of the organizers said that it's complete team work and co-ordination of all students and teachers who made the event a huge success. The team of organizers included Fatani, Samiha Fagih, Raghad Tamimi, Madiha Abrar, Salma Mohammed Sharif, Saniya Rizwan, Samar Emaad, Rafal Subhi and Dona Abu-Dawood. The students who helped the organizers were Sidrah Hanbazaz, Maha Fagih, Bayan Sharif, Shayma Saleh, Feryal Omar, Noura Ahmed, Ruqaya Mushtaq, Sara Abdeen, Sereen al-Ahmadi, Yasmin Sabri, Shereen Hisham, Asma Tahira and Manar Mamdouh. Hanna, Rizwana, Noha, Samar, and Samar were some of the co-ordinators and teachers who helped the students with the event ideas. School principal Wafa Ashwami appreciated the coordination between students and teachers.
