MAKKAH — Two young men have been arrested for robbing a expatriate pedestrian on a street in Makkah, said police spokesman Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi. The victim was beaten by the assailants when he refused to hand them his purse. When the police arrived at the scene, the victim was bleeding from his head. He was rushed to hospital. The worker is from an Asian country. Doctors say he will be discharged soon. The suspects are being questioned to find out whether they were involved in other criminal assaults.
