JEDDAH — A family dispute resulted in the fatal shooting of a citizen and the death of his brother due to a heart attack. Makkah Police spokesman, Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi, said the murder took place in Al-Thagr neighborhood and that police rushed to the scene and found the killer had fled the scene. Specialists and forensics teams attended the scene, found the victim in a pool of blood and transported him to the hospital, but he died upon arrival. He added the older brother of the victim fell unconscious and died from a heart attack when he heard the news. Al-Qurashi noted that a suspect was arrested and has been referred to concerned bodies for investigation.
