RIYADH — Thrilling matches were played in round nine of the Saudi Orix Tournament sponsored by Saudi Orix Leasing Company and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here.

In Hayer League, Pasban CC downed TBCC by 7 wickets. TBCC was bowled out for 101, thanks to a 5-wicket haul by Amjad. Shershad with 29 was the only batsman to show some resistance. Quraish bagged 2 wickets. Pasban reached the target in 11.5 overs. Suliman hit 51. Ashraf took 2 wickets.

Thales humbled Green Bangla by 3 wickets. Green Bangla posted 160. Amir blasted 44 and Badol 40. Khader, Waheed and Ali picked 1 wicket each. Thales scored reached 163 for the loss of 7 wickets in 18.4 overs. Khader batted well for his 69. Abdur Rahim, Zakkir and Alamin grabbed 2 wickets each.

Kashmir Strikers beat Grundfos by 3 wickets. Grundfos put on 171 with Yasser scoring 66 and Tahir 32. Irfan, Mushtaq and Ishfaq took 1 wicket each. Kashmir Strikers were home in 18.3 overs. Mudasir cracked 81 and Sabzar 30. Faisal and Tahir took 2 wickets each.

In a close encounter, Lahore Badshah Green edged Pak Eagles by 2 runs.
Lahore Badshah Green racked up 153. Afzal hit 55 and Wasim 33. Waheed bagged 4 wickets and Altaf 2. Pak Eagles scrambled to 151. Altaf hit 43 and Waheed 38. Wasim picked up 5 wickets and Ikram 2.

Professor's-XI got the better of Kingdom Warriors by 29 runs. Professor's-XI was boweled out for 150. Shoukat scored 32 and Jahangir 25. Kingdom Warriors could score only 121. Kamran was the top-scorer with 44. Jahangir claimed 5 wickets.

White Star crushed by Riyadh Royals by 3 wickets. White Star posted 169-7. Ahsan took 3 wickets, while Ahmed and Majid got 2 each. Riyadh Royals held their nerves to achieve the target in 18.5 overs. Ahsan top-scored with 55 and Naveed made 25.

In Diriyah League, Kashmir-XI defeated Royal Strikers by 16 runs. Kashmir-XI piled up 164 with Athar scoring 50 and Shabir 32. Vinal and Jijin picked up 2 wickets each. Royal Strikers could manage only 148. Altaf and Basit got 2 wickets each.

Seham crushed by Punjab Stars by 8 wickets. Seham posted 155. Nauman took 3 wickets and Asif 2. Punjab Stars reached the target in 12.4 overs. Sagheer smashed 67 and Rustum 36.

L'usine CC downed Strikers by 89 runs. L'usine mustered 171 in 20 overs. Talal Butt smacked 41. Ammar took 2 wickets. Strikers crumbled for 82 with only Sheraz scoring 25.

Umer Hasham scalped 4 wickets and Naveed 3 wickets in one over.

Challengers-XI downed Sinmar CC by 31 runs. Challengers-XI scored 147 with Althaf and Satheesh scored 29 and 26, respectively.

Akbar scalped 5 wickets. Sinmar fumbled to 116 with Ishtiaq top-scoring with 37. Althaf took 3 wickets and Satheesh 2.

Pak Saudi Warriors defeated Friends-XI by 7 wickets. Friends-XI racked up 133, thanks to Abdul Rehman (36) and Mubashir (22). Raza took 3 wickets, while Usman, Bilal and Junaid got 2 each. Pak Saudi Warriors reached the target in 17.4 overs. Raza hit 70 and Bilal 56. Sufiyan picked up 3 wickets.
