KFSH Blues to face Pak Shaheen in final

RIYADH — KFSH Blues and Pak Shaheen set up Al-Kharj Zone final following thrilling wins in their semifinal matches in the RCA Saudi ORIX T20 Cricket Tournament here recently.
Quarterfinals were also played in the Riyadh Zone of the tournament being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi ORIX Leasing Company.
In the first semifinal, KFSH Blues beat Amir Holidays by 5 runs thanks to a memorable all-round performance by Nadeem Babar. Taking the strike first, KFSH Blues posted a huge total of 250-3. Nadeem Babar hit 101. He was ably supported by Irshad Mubashir (68), Nasir Abbasi (35) and Qaiser Hussain (21).
Amir Holidays, in reply, fell short by 5 runs. Shahbaz hit 62, Kamran 41, Irfan 33, Sami Arshad 23 and Samiullah 21. Nadeem Babar and Irshad Mubashir bowled excellently and took 3 wickets each. Man of the Match: Nadeem Babar.
In the second semifinal, Pak Shaheen thrashed Falcons by 156 runs. Pak Shaheen posted 289-5. Abdul Wahab played a scintillating knock of 148 off 48 balls. Yassir added 66 and Abdul Waheed 52. In reply, Falcons was bundled out for 133. Abuzar, Javed, Abdulaziz and Faisal picked up 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Abdul Wahab.
In the Riyadh Zone quarterfinals, Tigers thrashed Riyadh Royals by 9 wickets. Royal put on 196. Majid made 53 and Fakhar 48. Sharaf bagged 5 wickets. Tigers raced to the target in 14.1 overs. Sailesh Kaw remained unbeaten on 96, while Sajid and Kamran added 51 and 41, respectively. Man of the Match: Sailesh Kaw.
Pak Eagles beat TBCC by 24 runs. Pak Eagles posted 188. Shabir hit 45, Farooq 27 and Wahidullah 24. TBCC managed 164, in reply. Wahidullah, Saqib and Altaf claimed 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Wahidullah.
Kingdom Warriors beat White Star Cricket Club by 49 runs. Kingdom Warriors scored 250 with Shakir making 75, Hussain 60 and Sameer 44. Fawad bagged 2 wickets. White Star could make only 201. Mudassir hit 68. Ateeq Shaoor took 5 wickets, including a hat trick. Man of the Match: Ateeq Shaoor.
Lahore Badshah Green beat Seham by 6 wickets. Seham scored 188-8. Majid scored 71 and Nasir 51. Zahideen picked up 2 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green achieved the target for the loss of 4 wickets in 19 overs. Zahideen scored 51, Afzal 50, Saad 35 and Arman 30. Majid and Waseem got 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Zahideen.
