QURAYYAT, Al-Jouf — Police arrested a 30-year-old man accused of blackmailing a girl. Al-Jouf Police spokesman Col. Turkey Al-Muwaishir said officers received reports of the blackmailer from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia). The criminal investigation team caught the suspect and forwarded his case to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution. Meanwhile, the Haia branch in Qurayyat arrested a 20-year-old man who had been caught in khulwa (secluded with a member of the opposite sex who is not a relative) with a university student on Tuesday. A source from the Haia reported that the man was spotted outside of a women's university. He lured one of the students into a secluded area but the police managed to arrest him before anything happened, said the source.
