DAMMAM — Eastern Province Police arrested 19,790 violators of various nationalities throughout the region.
They were all referred to local authorities and will face further measures. Spokesman for Eastern Province Police Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaiti said the police combed the region and raided suspicious locations for two months now.
The number of violators arrested since the beginning of the campaign has reached 124,521.
