MADINAH — Sky War and Saudi Oger will fight it out for the Hasina Begum Memorial Cricket Tournament here. In the semifinals, Sky War defeated Pak Madinah and Saudi Oger downed Madinah Diamonds. Opting to bat first, Sky War recorded 203 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Mubashir was the top scorer with 63. He cracked seven boundaries and two sixes. Sohail scored 36 and Rizwan 25. Noor claimed three wickets for Pak Madinah. Chasing a huge target, Pak Madinah was all out for 168. Arif contributed 38, Sohail 25, Tariq 23 and Sahar 22. Jahangir bagged four wickets. In the second semifinal, Saudi Oger crushed Madinah Diamonds by 161 runs. Batting first, Saudi Oger put on a big target of 261. Abdul Aziz hammered 143 with 9 sixes and 16 boundaries. Rashid boosted the total hitting 62 with eight fours. Diamonds' captain Iftikhar captured four wickets. In reply, Madinah Diamonds fell like ninepins for 99. Sahil managed to make 20. Manzoor Nakyana took four wickets in his four overs. Consolation Cup Shabab A-Ayoon and Airport Eleven will meet in the final of the Consolation Cup. Shabab Al-Ayoon defeated Sarendeb Cricket Club by only four runs. Batting first, Shabab Al-Ayoun scored 142 through Arif (26), Adnan (25) and Absar (21). Shamath claimed three wickets. In reply, Sarandeb came close to the target, tallying 138. Shamath who shone with the ball earlier, did well with the bat, blasting a half century (51). In the second semifinal, Airport Eleven beat Jodah Cricket Club by 13 runs. Airport Eleven put on 154 in 18 overs. Wasee top-scored with 54, followed by Zakir (24). There were 26 extras. Rizwan picked up four wickets. In reply, Jodah made 142. Sajjad was the main scorer with 52. Zahid contributed 34 and Ali 23.
