JEDDAH — Lifestyle Developers, the Saudi-based real estate developer which seeks to raise the region's standard of living by building quality residential and commercial projects, has received a “highly commended” ranking in the Developer category at the Arabian Property Awards, in association with Ernst and Young.
The Arabian Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards, with the winners' logo being recognized as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry. Lifestyle Developers competed against a number of contenders across the region's property landscape to earn the coveted top spot. The award, which was presented earlier this month at a high-profile gala of industry peers, recognizes Lifestyle Developers for its mixed-use of affordable yet upscale developments, particularly the well-appointed 568 AlZahra Residences that was handed over to end users in April 2014.
Sultan Sobhi Batterjee, President and Founder of Lifestyle Developers and a member of the Real estate developers Committee in the Saudi Chamber of Commerce, said: “At Lifestyle Developers, we are continuously pushing to raise the standards of living by building quality communities focused on design and affordability that are accessible to young professionals across the Middle East. Industry distinctions such as the Arabian Property Awards 2014 reaffirm our commitment to shaping quality residential projects in the region at large.”
Entries were received from companies in 12 Arabian countries. Winning entries were presented with either a “highly commended” or “5-Star” award. The 5-star winners were then re-judged to select just one from each of the 50 different categories to go forward to represent Arabia in the 2014-2015 International Property Awards and compete against other winning companies from Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, the United States, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Africa and the United Kingdom for the ultimate “World's Best” honors in each category.
The Awards' judging panel consists of more than 70 highly respected experts and is chaired by three active members of the House of Lords: Lord Caithness, Lord Best and Lord Courtown.
Stuart Shield, President of the International Property Awards, said, “Levels of excellence and innovation continue to rise within the property industry year after year, making the attainment of one of these awards increasingly difficult, yet even more valued.”
A new development in Alzahra district in Jeddah, 568 Alzahra Residences by Lifestyle Developers, is an address for modern living. The six-storey building features three-bedroom apartments with a floor area starting from 212 sqare meters up to 230 square meters, topped with a five-bedroom state-of-the-art penthouse spanning 460 square meters.
Along with an elegant contemporary living space, 568 Alzahra Residences offers conveniences such as concierge services, in-house maintenance, 24-hour security with surveillance cameras, and controlled access cards. — SG
