Nadeem Babar hits 200th century

RIYADH — Nadeem Babar hit his 200th century of his 24-year career in the third round of Saudi ORIX Cricket Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here over the weekend.

In Al-Kharj League, KFSH Blues outplayed Amir Holidays by 305 runs. Batting first, KFSH Blues posted a mammoth total of 405-6 in the stipulated 40 overs. Nasir Abbasi top scored with 133 as Nadeem Babar remained unbeaten on 110. Waseem and Khurram added 53 and 51, respectively. Saeed picked 3 wickets.

Amir Holidays, in reply, was bundled out for a paltry 100. Sami Arshad hit 31. Salman Butt claimed 4 wickets, while Imtiaz Ahmed and Raja Gulraiz bagged 2 each.

CKK beat Shuraim by 48 runs. CKK put on 242. Ali Shahid scored 59, Nouman 42 and Sajid 37. Shuraim was all out for 194. Imran Kifayat scalped 3 wickets, while Nabeel, Nouman and Nadeem bagged 2 each.

In Huraymala League, Crescent beat Riyadh Fighters by 8 runs. Crescent notched 203. Yassir smashed 87, Mohsin 44 and Asim 32. Imran bagged 4 wickets and Majid 3.

Riyadh Fighters, in reply, managed only 195. Imran notched 50. Yassir claimed 4 wickets, while Mubashir and Usman got 3 each.
Fuchs thrashed Pakistan Falcons by 30 runs. Fuchs put on 165 with Riaz making 79 and Javed 36. Waqar, Yassir and Tila claimed 2 wickets each.

Pakistan Falcons could manage only 135. Shoaib picked wickets and Nouman 3.
In Hayer League, Green Bangla downed Grundfos by 43 runs. Green Bangla etched 180 with Zakir scoring 58, Babu Manik 43 and Mazhar 32. Faisal took 2 wickets. Grundfos, in reply, was restricted to 137. Tahir hit 61. Badol and Abdulrahman picked 2 wickets each.

Kingdom Warriors got the better of Rawdah Heats by 5 wickets. Rawdah Heats set a target of 165. Atif slammed 63. Farhan and Obaid bagged 2 wickets each. Kingdom Warriors were home for the loss of 5 wickets in 16.3 overs. Zeeshan slammed 55 and Obaid 46.

White Star CC thumped Flynas Avengers by 3 wickets. Flynas Avengers made 171, thanks to 82 by Zafar. Naeem claimed 2 wickets. White Star achieved the target for the loss of 7 wickets in 19 overs. Umer scored 71 and Asif 32.
In Diriyah League, L'usine defeated Al-Momen International School by 6 wickets. Al-Momen was all out for 84. Mujahid was the top scorer with 31. Gamage Amila bagged 5 wickets and Zafar 2. L'usine reached home for the loss of 4 wickets in 8.2 overs. Sallauddin scored 40 and Usman 22. Mujahid picked 2 wickets.
