RIYADH — Twenty-one exciting matches were played in Round 6 of Sikander Farooqui Memorial (SFM) Cricket Tournament being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre here recently.
In Al-Kharj Zone, Amer Holidays outclassed Lahore Lions by 144 runs. Amer Holidays posted 347-8 in 40 overs. Sami Arshad blasted 138. Other notable contributions came from Irfan 49, Samiullah 43 and Nadeem 25. Lahore Lions, in reply, were restricted to 203 with Arsalan and Rasheed picking up 4 wickets each. Omar Zafar hit 58 and Mansoor 43.
Brilliant bowling by Nabeel Asghar helped CKK beat KFSH Blues by 5 wickets. KFSH Blues were all out for 122 thanks to a 5-wicket haul by Nabeel Asghar. It included a hat trick. Khurram and Rustam added 47 and 22, respectively. Zahid picked up 2 wickets. CKK lost a few wickets early, but Najeeb's 38 helped it achieve the target. Nadeem Babar and Imtiaz Butt picked up 2 wickets each.
In another low-scoring match, Pak Shaheen trounced Shuraim by 7 wickets. Shuraim was all out for 131. Abdulwahab and Abdulaziz picked 3 wickets each, while Abuzar got 2. Pak Shaheen achieved the target in 17.3 overs. Abdulwaheed and Abdulwahab remained unbeaten on 60 and 50, respectively.
In Huraymala Zone, Stallions beat KFSH Knight Riders by 84 runs. Stallions put on 210. Notable contributions came from Yassir (61), Asif (53), Imran (26) and Junaid (25). Bilal took 2 wickets. Knight Riders managed 126. Farooq hit 28, Faizan 24 and Fazal 21. Asif bagged 3 wickets, while Shahid and Sufyan claimed 2 wickets each.
Star-XI beat RAC by 9 wickets. RAC scored 116. Abbas picked 3 wickets, while Waheed and Asif bagged 2 each. Star-XI achieved the target in 11.1 overs. Abbas added 52 and Faisal 43.
Riyadh Warriors beat Green Bangla by 5 wickets. Green Bangla scored 178. Kakon hit 56, Mithun 28 and Aminul 26. Warriors achieved the target in 19.1 overs thanks to a match-winning 100 not out by Asif. Abdulaziz added 38. Mashuk claimed 2 wickets.
Pakistan Falcons beat KFSH Green by 101 runs. Pakistan Falcons scored 209. Hamza Abbasi scored 100. Mansoor Ali bagged 2 wickets. KFSH Green could manage only 108. Matiullah picked 4 wickets, while Mohammed bagged 2.
FUCHS beat Sulaiman-XI by 21 runs. FUCHS scored 154, with Aziz adding 81, and then bundled out Sulaiman-XI for 133. Aziz bowled well to pick 3 wickets.
In Riyadh Zone, Punjab Stars beat Kingdom Warriors by 43 runs. Punjab Stars scored 173 with Shakar hitting 49. Zeeshan and Irfan claimed 2 wickets each. Warriors scored 130 in reply. Haris added 23 and Adil 22. Noman bagged 4 wickets.
Rawdah Heats beat Grundfos by 41 runs. Heats scored 146 and then bowled Grundfos out for 105.
Lahore Badshah Green beat Friends-XI by 77 runs. Lahore Badshah Green put on 214 thanks to 107 by Mirza Jahangir. Friends-XI was bowled out for 137. Shahid Ali claimed 4 wickets.
AKCC beat TBCC by 60 runs. AKCC put on 170. Abdul Salam was the wrecker-in-chief. He claimed 8 wickets in 3 overs. TBCC, in reply, was bundled out for 110. Ashab picked 3 wickets, while Sadiq and Aimal bagged 2 each.
Imran-XI beat Kashmir Gymkhana by 5 wickets. Gymkhana scored 143. Imran-XI achieved the target in 18.3 overs. Majid Khan scored 93.
KCC beat Royal Strikers. KCC scored 145. Nasir Abbasi hit 52 and Qasim Abbasi 21. Strikers could manage only 119 with Nasir Abbasi claiming 3 wickets and Qasim Abbasi bagging 2.
Tigers beat Delhi Dare Devils by 6 wickets. Dare Devils put on 157. Manik claimed 3 wickets, while Upol and Sharaf bagged 2 each. Tigers achieved the target in 18.2 overs thanks to scintillating knocks by Sailesh Kaw (61), Kamran (59) and Alal (32).
