Published in The Saudi Gazette on 22 - 11 - 2014

MOHAMED Yousuf Naghi Motors has reported a sales increase of 10 percent for the first three quarters of 2014, signaling a great result for the BMW Group importer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Commenting on the outstanding sales performance, Stavros Paraskevaides, Managing Director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors (BMW Group), said: “2014 has been a great year for Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors thus far.
We have launched a number of vehicles that include the all-new BMW 4 Series grand Coupé, powerful new BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupé as well as the all-new MINI Hatch.
Most recently we also introduced the revolutionary plug-in hybrid BMW i8. Our successful numbers are representative of the strong demand for the BMW Group brands here in Saudi and we are confident we will continue this growth till the end of the year.”
Saudi Arabia is the second biggest market in the Middle East with regards to BMW Group sales volume, after the UAE. The importer delivered 3,479 vehicles across both brands.
Paraskevaides added “at Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, we are about more than just selling cars. We provide our customers with a holistic premium experience that the BMW brand is known for the world over. Our constant dedication to this vision is what helps us achieve year-on-year success.”
The BMW 7 Series was the one of the best-selling BMW models in Saudi Arabia witnessing a 15 percent growth during the first half of the year.
The growth reaffirmed Saudi's position as the biggest Middle East market for BMW 7 Series sales accounting for almost half of the total Middle East 7 Series sales.

The BMW X5 – the leader Sports Activity Segment contributed with the highest sales increase for the BMW Group importer registering a growth of 125 percent.
The newest generation of the BMW X5 launched late year helped drive to the growth of this model as well as the growth of the X model portfolio.
During the first half of the year, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors introduced the all-new MINI Hatch, the brand's core model in the seven-member product line-up.
The latest MINI Hatch model takes road presence to a whole new level, with a new design, new generation engines, improved driving comfort and a vast range of new quality materials and colors. It will joined by a 5 door MINI Hatch later this year.
The MINI family also welcomed the latest variants of the MINI Clubman and Paceman – all of which are sure to contribute towards the brand's growth in the Kingdom. – SG
