Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors has reported a 14 percent growth in its BMW and MINI sales for the first half of 2011 compared to the same period last year. The official BMW Group importer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delivered a total of 1,684 BMW and MINI cars to customers, ranking among the top three best performing markets for BMW Group Middle East. Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors demonstrated its intention of completing yet another successful year for BMW Group sales as it announced that it also achieved the highest sales across the Middle East for BMW Premium Selection, the company's pre-owned car program. 325 pre-owned cars were sold, an increase of 55 percent over 2010. It was also one of the top three sellers of MINI vehicles in the region, with an increase of 76 percent in sales over last year. Sheikh Mohamed Yousuf Naghi, chairman of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, attributed the success to the superior services the company offers to meet the high expectations of its costumers. "We have had a busy first half of 2011 and diversified our vehicle portfolio with the launch of three new models including the new BMW 6 Series Convertible, BMW X3 and MINI Countryman. Furthermore, the continuous demand for vehicles from our existing line-up including the flagship BMW 7 Series, BMW 5 Series and X Range has contributed to us achieving good sales growth. However, we will not allow success to make us complacent and will do our utmost to ensure we can build upon this success for the remainder of the year," said Anees Jamjoom, managing director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors (BMW Group). Contributing to the solid performance in the first half of 2011, the BMW X5, from the popular BMW X range of Sports Activity Vehicles (SAV's) achieved the highest growth in sales over 2010 with 74 percent (221 vehicles sold). The BMW 7 Series, meanwhile, was the best selling model, recording sales of 788 vehicles – demonstrating continued demand for BMW's flagship model.
