RIYADH — Interior Minister Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, who is also the chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, has directed the Civil Defense Directorate to ensure that tents in the Holy Sites will not have cooking gas. Director of Civil Defense Maj. Gen. Sulaiman Al-Amro said neither Haj groups nor authorities and charity organizations will be allowed to use cooking gas. Violators will face severe punishment and penalties. The move comes to protect pilgrims and prevent fire accidents.
