RIYADH — The Indian government has decided to hold the next Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (Indian Expatriates Day) at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat in January 2015, according to the country's embassy in Riyadh. Efforts will be made to have more meaningful and interactive sessions that will address the issues and concerns of the overseas Indian community effectively, the embassy said in a press statement. Since 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the return of Mahatma Gandhi, the greatest "pravasi" of all, from South Africa, it is desired that the day would be celebrated in a grand way, the statement said, adding that details of the program will be announced later. — SG
