The 10th edition of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD), the Indian Diaspora Convention, will be held in Jaipur from Jan. 7-9, 2012, said a press release issued by the Indian Consulate General Jeddah Tuesday. Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will inaugurate this flagship event of the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs on January 8 and President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will deliver the valedictory address on January 9. A large number of delegates from across the world are expected to attend the three-day event. The convention, featuring diverse themes with eminent speakers, will hold discussions related to development issues such as health, education, youth and inclusive growth.
