DAMMAM — Four Civil Defense firefighters were injured on Friday while combating a blaze that erupted in a warehouse at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. Eastern Province Red Crescent spokesman Fahad Al-Ghamdi said the Civil Defense four firefighters were injured while battling the blaze and one of them had to be taken to hospital for treatment. Eastern Province Civil Defense spokesman Col. Ali Al-Qahtani said the fire engulfed 1,200 sq. meter warehouse, which stored kitchen appliances, medical items and office furniture. An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the fire.
