JEDDAH — The graduation ceremony for Advanced Level (A Level) students of Bangladesh International School - English Section here was held at its premises Friday. The grand ceremony was held in honor of its 2014 outgoing comprising 53 students, who were given a farewell upon completion of their A Level exams held in the month of May-June under Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Board. All members of the School Governing Board including Kazi Neamul Bashir, Chairman – SGB, Dr. Jalal Uddin, Engr. Golam Sarowar and Amir Mohammed were present on the occasion. Bashir said: “I hope the graduates will focus on the issues which will enhance the country's image throughout the world.” Jalal uddin focused his talk on the cooperation of the parents to uplift their kids. He urged students to remain grateful to people who are contributing in their lives. Reza-E-Rabbi, First Secretary and Consul Labor of the Consulate General of Bangladesh, Jeddah graced the occasion as the chief guest of the evening. Rabbi urged students to be responsible enough to be treated as role model by others. He said:”The event was marked as a significant one in the lives of the graduates since this is a step forward to the further challenges of the real life.” Amir Mohammed, Head of Education of the school, also delivered his speech on the occasion. He said: “I believe in the potential of the graduates and expected that the students of BIS will bring the glory for the school and the country as well.” Engr. Golam Sarowar, Head of Finance, also addressed the gathering. Among the graduates, Rohan Nazrul Islam and Ameera Mahfuza Alam, shared their thoughts with the gathering, expressing their gratitude. Mohammed Abdul Kaium, the acting school principal, advised students to develop their career incorporating moral knowledge along with the acquired knowledge. He reiterated the importance of self-discipline to be a perfect human being in the life.
