Ten occupants of a home in a building in Al-Darb governorate were rescued by Civil Defense teams after a fire broke out in their apartment. Jazan Civil Defense spokesman Maj. Yahya Al-Qahtani said the residents were trapped inside the building, and rescuers managed to evacuate them as some of them suffered smoke inhalation. All those evacuated were transported to a hospital where their condition was described as stable. A Civil Defense firefighter with minor injuries was treated at the site itself.
