With regard to the article "Grand Mufti: Jumping red light is a crime" (Apr. 29), I wish that the majority of drivers understood what the Grand Mufti is saying. The process of acquiring a driving license in Saudi Arabia is a joke. When there are brain-dead people driving with kids in their laps, isn't it obvious that they don't care about their own lives or about the lives of others? Khan, Online response II. I really hope that drivers as well as the traffic police pay heed to what the Grand Mufti has said in order to control the menace of traffic violations and reckless driving which causes a huge loss of human life and financial resources.
