I am writing with regard to the report "2-month jail, fine for woman academic for illicit relations" (Apr. 29). Hiding illicit affairs and other morally bankrupt and professional behavior by conducting yourself with the idea that you are untouchable because of your achievements has been proven wrong in this case. Living a life that wantonly sets out to destroy another's family no matter who you may think you are has been proved wrong in this case. Feeling that your grand personality will protect you has been proved wrong in this case. You reap what you sow. Hejazi Girl, Online response II. It is not right to have a relationship while married or with someone who is married. The real shame is that the man has not been punished. He broke his commitment to his wife and should be held accountable. There is also a high probability that he was the one that pursued the woman and initiated the relationship. Where is the justice? What a shame! Erick, Online response III. It is very comforting to know that people are not able to get away with crimes because they portray themselves as reformers or academics.
