E-service to issue passports launched

RIYADH — Interior Minister Prince Muhammad Bin Naif launched on Wednesday a new service to issue Saudi passports electronically. This will be an addition to the Abshir e-service that the ministry earlier introduced as part of its efforts to be a fully-fledged e-department. Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Solaiman Al-Yahya said the service will enable Saudi citizens or anyone authorized by them to issue or renew their passports electronically.
