JEDDAH — Jeddah Sports Club (JSC) A and Indonesian International School proved their prowess in the first JSC Under-14 Friendship Football Tournament, organized by Jeddah Sports Club (JSC) Soccer Academy at the Dunk Football Ground here recently. JSC-A blanked Green Shore 3-0 and Indonesian boys were too good for JSC-B as they stole the show with a 7-0 win. Abdul Azeez Anwar, who was adjudged player of the match, scored two goals for JSC. Amir Zafar completed the tally for the hosts. Rayan of Indonesian School recorded the first hat trick of the tournament. Muhfeed, who was selected as the player of the match, found the target twice, while Faris and Assam scored the other two goals. On Saturday, Sporting United ran over JSC-B 6-0 and International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ) beat Green Shore 2-0. For Sporting United, Ahmed registered the second hat trick of the tourney. Shadil and Nihal hit the target and an own goal completed the rout. Ahmed won the player of the match plum. Ashfaq and Zakir were the scorers for IISJ, while Usman of IISJ was named player of the match.
