Farooqui, Education Consular in the Indian Consulate Raghib Qureshi, Jain and Ghulam pose during a reception held in Jeddah recently in Farooqui's honor by prominent businessman Usama Khan. A large number of prominent members of the Indian community were present on the occasion. Farooqui, presently secretary in the Department of Technology in the Indian government, served as his country's consul general in Jeddah from 1993 to 1996. He belongs to the 1978 batch of Indian Allied Services from Tamil Nadu cadre. Farooqui is a postgraduate in physics and business administration. — Courtesy photo
