IN response to the growing demand for international travel from Saudi Arabia, flynas is continuing its comprehensive expansion program announcing two weekly flights between Riyadh and Luxor starting from April 4. Currently flynas is operating flights between Jeddah and Luxor and the new route expansion covers two weekly flights from Riyadh to Luxor in response to high customer demand. Most recently flynas has expanded its operations to key Egyptian cities which reflects the importance of Egypt as a key market, in addition to the strong economic ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia which has created this demand to provide new air travel solutions between both cities. Raja Azmi, flynas CEO, said that adding the Riyadh-Luxor route to the flynas flight schedule comes as a response to customer requirements and the high appeal expected from this new route. This comes in line with its ambitious expansion plans in the Egyptian air travel market. Azmi also confirmed that flynas is continuing its expansion program by eyeing high demand destinations and converting them into new routes from and to Saudi Arabia. flynas operates flights to six Egyptian destinations including Alexandria, Assiut, Sohag, Sharm El Sheikh, Luxor and Aswan. New flights between Riyadh and Luxor will allow Egyptian residents in Saudi Arabia more travel convenience via direct flights to the South of Egypt in addition to facilitating visits to the Holy Places by visitors from that region. Raja Azmi added: “The continuous expansion of flynas network to serve more countries is an integral part the airline's 20X20 strategy targeting 20 million passengers by 2020. This means expanding our customer base and providing flights that are comfortable, affordable and the highest standards of service.” — SG
