Treatment of visitors at Saudi immigration is a nightmare

I am writing with regard to the post "Jawazat officers must change their attitude" (Apr. 5). Indeed the treatment of visitors at Saudi immigration is a nightmare. Why is it that even the old and the weak are also treated with such a bad attitude. Not a single visitor to the Kingdom whom I have ever talked with has had a good word to say about immigration officials. This is the same at every international airport in the Kingdom.

Saudis are very friendly, kind and generous people. This has been my experience here. I have lived in the Kingdom for five years and have enjoyed peace, security, good salary and everything that I require. But whenever I travel in or out of the Kingdom, I really feel sad because of the bad behavior of Jawazat officials. They are giving Saudi Arabia a bad name.
