Mahmoud Ahmad has pointed out good points about passengers behaviors onboard Saudia flights in his article "Saudia passengers need to improve (Dec. 30). They need to change, but imagine also the frustration of a paying passenger when he is literally maltreated by the ground personnel displaying attitude of arrogance, starting from the check-in counter, immigration and security check. By the time the passenger boards the aircraft he is exhausted and, instead of enjoying the journey, it becomes natural for him to vent his frustration on the poor stewards at the slightest opportunity. Everyone needs to change! Khan, Online response II. I laugh each time I remember a time when I was going to Dammam from Jeddah. As soon as the passengers were called to board our flight, chaos started when a number of male passengers want their seats to be with their female relatives and the ones with confirmed seats do not want to move. There were arguments which continued for a long that we were delayed. This is a common scene in Saudia where chaos over seating arrangement has become normal before the flight. Manong, Online response III. It is disgusting and sad to say that a lot of Saudi passengers are rude. It seems that some people here like to make some kind of a sport out of senseless complaining.
