I really hope animal rights will increasingly be considered and addressed. It is good that there is a law to be kind to animals, and it's sad that some people torture animals. However, animal rights could definitely extend beyond those extreme cases to neglected and stray animals. I hope that the stray animal population will become more valued and more controlled with humane measures and that local agencies will become adequately equipped with quality, humane resources. Hopefully, also in the near future more people in general will develop more compassion and empathy for the stray animals around them.
