RIYADH — Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Premier Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz will receive pledge of allegiance after Dhuhr prayers on Sunday and Monday at Al-Hukm Palace in Riyadh. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah issued on Friday a directive in this regard, the Saudi Press Agency reported quoting a royal court statement. King Abdullah on Thursday appointed Prince Muqrin as deputy crown prince. Prince Muqrin will receive pledge of allegiance from members of the royal family, senior government officials, and Saudi citizens. Meanwhile, Prince Muqrin thanked King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz, deputy premier and minister of defense, for appointing him as deputy crown prince. In cables sent to the King and the crown prince, Prince Muqrin thanked for the trust bestowed on him, praying to Allah Almighty to grant him success in serving the religion, King and country.
