Three people were killed and three injured in a head-on collision between two cars on Al-Ula Road at Shajwa village, north of Madinah. Madinah Red Crescent spokesman, Mahmoud Khayyat, said paramedics rushed to the site and provided necessary first aid to the injured. He added that traffic police were also on site to direct traffic and investigate the accident, while the victims were transported to hospitals. He pointed out that the Red Crescent has seen a significant increase in the number of accidents around the Madinah area over the past two days due to a surge in visitors to the city.
