MADINAH — Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia) have detained two men and three girls who were found to be in khulwa (illegal seclusion). The Haia had received information of a vehicle carrying young men and women near a private resort. The commission immediately dispatched a number of units that searched for and located the suspect vehicle parked next to the resort. Haia members stormed the resort and detained the five suspects. Investigations showed the men came from outside Jeddah while the young women are secondary students who did not attend school that day. They were referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (BIP) for further inquiries.
