RIYADH — King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) recently signed an agreement with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to conduct experiments on Saudi Satellite (Saudi SAT-4), according to Dr. Badur Al-Suwaidan, supervisor of the National Center for Satellite Technology. The new satellite is expected to be launched this summer. KASCT has so far launched 12 satellites for remote sensing and geographic information systems. The most recent one, T-3, has been providing the Kingdom with space photos over the last seven years.
