AlHijjah 24, 1432, Nov 20, 2011, SPA -- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kazakhstan signed here yesterday a cooperation agreement aiming at exchanging mutual benefits and cooperation in the fields of space research, remote sensing, communication satellites and exploring and using outer space for peaceful purposes. The agreement signed by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) with the National Space Agency (NSA) of the Republic of Kazakhstan aims to cooperate in the research fields of space science, remote sensing of the Earth, satellite communications, navigation satellites and using of the space infrastructure. It was signed by Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel, KACST President and Talgat Musabayev, NSA President.
