RIYADH – Riyadh Marriott Hotel is hosting the “Taste of Australia” Food Festival from March 1-14 in conjunction with the Australian Embassy and guest chef John Havens, a steak expert specializing in Australian Wagyu and Angus beef. The food festival is in the hotel's award-winning Terrace Grill fine-dining steakhouse and Mosaic Restaurant. The Terrace Grill opened its doors in 2012 and was quickly recognized as one of Riyadh's top restaurants winning the MENA 2012 Silver Award for Best Dining in the Middle East & North Africa. In the Terrace Grill, visitors can enjoy Australian specialty meats such as Wagyu beef, Angus beef and lamb, which have been added to the a la carte menu during the festival. While in Mosaic Restaurant, guests can enjoy the Australian buffet featuring an array of traditional ‘Aussie' dishes. There will be a live cooking station with a variety of BBQ Wagyu Beef cuts, famous Aussie meat pies and Australian shrimp. The dessert buffet will feature unique sweets from Down Under, including chocolate-coated coconut cakes called ‘lamingtons'. The ‘Taste of Australia' Food Festival is being held nightly from 6.30 p.m.-11.30 p.m. — SG
