RIYADH – On the occasion of the inauguration of the newly opened steakhouse “Terrace Grill” and in association with the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh and Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour, Marriott Hotel gladly presents “Taste of Canada” festival. Riyadh Marriott Hotel is hosting at its “Terrace Grill” a two-week Canadian Festival in presence of well-known executive Chef David Roger that came exclusively from “Victoria Marriott,” Canada to present the authentic taste of Canadian cuisine under the theme “Taste of Canada”' from Feb. 21 to March 6. Riyadh Marriott Hotel opens the gates to the Canadian festival amid much enthusiasm at the Najd Ballroom attended by Ambassador of Canada in Riyadh Thomas McDonald and a number of diplomatic dignitaries. General Manager of Riyadh Marriott hotel Khaldoun Hayajneh welcomed all the guests and opened the event with a welcome speech during which he said that Marriott Riyadh has been hosting many such food festivals every year and representing many countries across the globe. Hayajneh introduced the visiting well known Canadian executive Chef David Roger who came exclusively from Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour. On the occasion, Hayajneh thanked all the sponsors associated with the festival among which Gulf West Company Limited for their excellent support towards this event. Hayajneh also invited McDonald to say a few words on this occasion. McDonald said that he was delighted by the event and that Riyadh Marriott has done a wonderful job by bringing the taste and feel of Canada to Riyadh. "By visiting here you will certainly get the authentic taste of Canada in this beautiful ambience," McDonald said. He also thanked Hayajneh and the management team of Riyadh Marriott. Daily Dinner will be served with mouthwatering Canadian cuisine especially made to enhance one's taste buds. Chef David Roger's specialties are Ribs a la plaque, Angus beef cuts and a variety of hot and cold classic dishes from Canada. Terrace Grill steakhouse opens its doors every day from 6:30 pm until 11:30 pm for dinner. – SG
