Mujtaba whacks a ton in 50 balls

JEDDAH — Ghulam Mujtaba of Harley-Davidson scored a brilliant century in just 50 deliveries to guide his team to a convincing 38-run win over Al-Bawardi CC in the MoneyGram-sponsored Cricket Ke Badhshah T20 Tournament, organized by EPCA under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC).
Batting first, Harley-Davidson scored 218-7 through Arshad Mahmood (32). Shijil bagged 2 wickets. In reply, Al-Bawardi could manage 180. Shajeeulla made 54, Pervez 35 and Maherullah 34. Ram Ganesh and Anwar Khan took two wickets each.
Gladiators made short work of Kings-XI by 7 wickets. Kings-XI tallied 127 as Jawad top-scored with 37. Talha, Saif and Nabeel took 2 wickets each. In reply, Gladiators reached 131-3 in 14.2 overs. Mashal hit 58 and Mobin 37. Jawad claimed 2 wickets.
ASZT Young Guns blazed past Royal Kashmir in an exciting match by 13 runs. Batting first, Young Guns put up 147. Ammar was the top scorer with 55. Shoaib took 3 wickets, while Shabbir and Ejaz got 2 each. Royal Kashmir, in reply, was restricted to 134-7. Ejaz Ahmed made 32. Zaman took 3 wickets and Abdullah 2.
Ayub Jeelani's hurricane innings of 83 in just 39 deliveries guided KLV Al-Khodari to a comprehensive victory over DHL Express. KLV Al-Khodari scored 220-7. Mohsin took 3 wickets. In reply, DHL managed 154. Mahboob cracked a half-century. Zafar bagged three wickets and Sajid Ansari two.
Two wickets and an innings of 47 in 29 deliveries by Nabeel Arshad helped EI Plus Arabia score an easy win over Imran Tigers. EI Plus Arabia made 179-5 through Nabeel (47) and Omer (31 not out). Gul claimed 3 wickets. In reply, Imran Tigers could make only 115-9. Ziyad grabbed 3 wickets and Nabeel 2.
Three half-centuries from Khobar Badshah's top order batsmen and a superb all-round performance by Asif Ashraf flattened Bin Delamah ADPCO. Khobar Badshah tallied 226-5. Asif Ashraf hit 67, Saqib 67 not out and Saad Khan 64. Silva took 2 wickets. In reply, Bin Delamah ADPCO managed 160-7 through Nabeel 31 and Mohsin 38. Asif Ashraf took 4 wickets.

Ashes Bindelamah beat KFUPM. Ashes 224-4 (Nithin 66, Sulfi 53, Pradeep Kurain 33 not out; Riaz 2 wickets). KFUPM 185-7 (Asad 51, Abdulazeem 42, Shafi 42; Pradeep 3 wickets).
