RAFHA — Seven people were injured in a fire that engulfed an apartment unit in a residential building located in Al-Namouthajyah neighborhood. North Border Civil Defense spokesman Capt. Abdulrahman Al-Ahmari said firefighters and rescue teams rushed to the site and contained the fire. He noted that a family was trapped in the apartment and teams were able to rescue them. Four members of the family suffered smoke inhalation while three rescuers sustained mild injuries. The Red Crescent transported the injured to Rafha General Hospital where they were treated and later released.
