JAZAN — Four tremors hit the Jazan region Thursday, according to Hani Zahran, director of the National Center for Earthquakes and Volcanoes. He was visiting different villages and towns in the region with a team of geologists to check the condition of buildings and see if they are safe. Zahran said the 900-meter-high Akwah Mountain has not shown any volcanic activity. At least 41 minor tremors were felt in the region over the past one month.
