JEDDAH — Customs officers at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah foiled an attempt to smuggle 4.6 kilograms of cocaine stashed inside smugglers' stomachs and underwear, said Director of Customs Muhammad Al-Ghamdi. The drugs were inside small balloons that were inserted in the smugglers' stomachs. Al-Ghamdi said the smugglers were traveling on different flights and did not enter the Kingdom on the same day. He thanked the officers for their vigilance and warned that anyone caught bringing drugs into the Kingdom will face severe consequences.
