RIYADH — Custom officials have foiled an attempt to smuggle more than 4,000 bottles of liquor hidden in a truck at the Al-Batha entry point with the UAE. The driver hid the bottles inside plastic pipes. Custom officials got suspicious when the driver resisted attempts to inspect the cargo. The driver has been arrested for further investigation.
