9th day... Lama still traceless

Efforts to locate the body of 6-year-old Lama Ayidh Al-Rawqi continued for the ninth day on Saturday in Haql governorate. Lama fell into a 100-meter-deep artesian well while picnicking with her family members last Friday. Infra red cameras detected her body lodged 30 feet deep in the half-a-meter diameter well. Director of Civil Defense Maj. Gen. Mastoor Ayidh Al-Harthi said the first stage of digging has been completed, but they have fears the wall of the well might collapse. — Okaz
