MADINAH — Traffic Department officers here issued 31,118 tickets to drivers, said director Brig. Muhammad Al-Shanbari. Violations included running red lights, driving without a license, double-parking, not having seat belts on, making illegal U-turns and using mobile phones when driving. Al-Shanbari said his department would continue to crack down on drivers who violate traffic rules. He noted that undercover police would keep their eyes open for boys behind the wheel and deserted vehicles on streets.
