This refers to the article "Saudi staff allege on-job harassment by expat managers" (Nov. 10). This report is totally true and correct. The same is also happening in the construction company also where I work. Many expatriate managers are getting wages like SR 35,000 basic and with huge benefits. Over the past three years, they have not increased the salaries of Saudis and have not promoted any of them. I am an expatriate and I see many Saudis working hard and completing their assignments on time. The government should look into this issue for the benefit of our Saudi brothers and sisters. Sunny, Online response II. Incidents like this are common in larger organizations, both in government and the private. South Asian expats, who feel that they are entitled to play their roles, are vindictive toward Saudis and go to the lengths of undermining qualified staff. These expats go up the job ladder because they know how to schmooze with gullible officials, who have to wake up and focus on production and not succumb to flattery. Monty, Online response III. To solve the problem, fine both Saudis and expats who are involved in harassment. Abdullah, Online response
