Overturned fuel truck triggers safety alarm

The Civil Defense declared a state of alert in Taif's Al-Halaqa Al-Sharqiya neighborhood on Wednesday after a fuel tanker overturned on the road. Teams of firefighters, rescuers, traffic police and paramedics rushed to the scene while experts from the National Gas and Industrial Company worked on emptying gas from the tanker. The area surrounding the accident was cordoned off. The tanker's driver, a Saudi, was injured and transferred to hospital. No other injuries were reported. — Okaz photo
