BAHA/AL-QUNFUDHA: Twelve woman teachers were injured Sunday in Al-Baha and Al-Qunfudha in two separate traffic accidents. Maj. Jam'an Dayis Al-Ghamdi, Civil Defense spokesman in Al-Baha region, said officials received a report from a Saudi man that a female teachers' bus had overturned, rescue teams and ambulances with paramedics rushed to the scene and safety personnel freed the trapped teachers and the driver from the wreck. They were taken to to the General Hospital in Al-Aqeeq, which said their injuries range from slight to moderate. In another accident, four female teachers suffered injuries and their driver escaped unhurt on the road linking Al-Baidhain and Al-Ussami towns, when the bus collided head-on with a speeding car. The bus was also rear-ended by another bus.
