DAMMAM — A young man has been killed in Dammam Corniche after a marlin fish speared him in the neck while he was swimming in a no-swimming area, according to Eastern Province Border Guards spokesman Col. Khalid Al-Arqoubi. The young man was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Al-Arqoubi said marlins are swift and dangerous fish. He urged the public to stay clear of no-swimming areas.
