Expatriate arrested after stealing SR60,000

MAKKAH — An Afghani man has been arrested for stealing SR60,000 from an Egyptian engineer, according to Makkah Police spokesman Lt. Col. Abdul Mohsin Al-Maiman. The engineer was caught off guard by the man who was lurking for him outside a bank. When the engineer got into his car, the Afghani man approached him and told him one of his tires was flat. He got out of the car to check the tire. During this time, another accomplice snatched the money from the passenger's seat and ran away. Police arrested both suspects near the same bank.
