RIYADH – Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) said that it has completed all its preparations to serve this year's pilgrims after it conducted many sites inspections to ensure quality of its services. Mobily's CEO Khalid Bin Omar Al Kaf said Mobily works in alignment with other government institutes and ministries to ensure quality of services that will be provided to all pilgrims. He also asserted that Mobily operations in the central areas in Makkah, Al Madinah and the holy sites are ready to host and serve pilgrims. “The huge infrastructure that Mobily have invested in many regions including Makkah and Al Madinah will boost the company operations to provide reliable services to pilgrims,” Al Kaf said. He added “every year we conduct many reviews on our services in Makkah and upgrade them with the latest technologies including LTE.” Moreover, Al Kaf said Mobily is banking on its fiber optics, international circuits and many fixed and mobile towers to deliver high quality services during Haj season, noting that last year Mobily's network has experienced a steady increase in traffic on data and phone calls inside the holy sites. In addition to its network preparations, Mobily has allocated many outlets and points of sales in many international airports, Mawaqeet and central areas surrounding the holy mosques in Makkah and Al Madinah where pilgrims can get all kinds of services and products including, post-paid and prepaid lines, data SIM cards and routers. – SG
