JEDDAH — Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ) will announce Thursday night its job creation results from the organization's inception in 2003 to the end of 2012 at an annual ceremony. The event will start after Maghreb prayer at the headquarters of Abdul Latif Jameel Group in Jeddah's Safa district under the slogan, "Your Work, Your Smile." The ceremony will be attended by a number of senior officials from both the public and private sectors in addition to senior executives from the group, beneficiaries and media people. Minister of Labor Adel Fakieh is sponsoring the event. The ceremony will feature a presentation of BRJ achievements, success stories of those benefiting from the organization's programs, launch of new job creation programs and the launch of the new BRJ website, which includes new features for job seekers, training programs and electronic marketing outlets for owners of small projects. The winners of the BRJ Award for Creation of Job Opportunities – small enterprises category – will also be recognized during the event to encourage small companies to create job opportunities for young males and females. The award offers prizes worth a total SR500,000. Abdul Rahman Al-Fihaid, executive director of BRJ Saudi Arabia, said: "This annual ceremony will be different this year, as it documents a 10-year journey in creating job opportunities for young people, during which BRJ supported 350,000 beneficiaries. “We believe that the following years will witness new and creative developments in creating job opportunities, and will be accompanied by online training, electronic guidance and targeting new categories to make new success stories and to inspire young people."
